Since 1999, Bono Vox has became increasingly involved in campaigning for third-world debt relief and raising awareness of actions for the situation in Africa, including the AIDS pandemic. In the last decade, met with several influential politicians, including the old USA president, George W. Bush. Bono made presentations at benefit concerts with him band, U2, together with Adam Clayton, The Edge and Larry Mullen Jr.
